this is my second blog. My first is the solares hill blog, but it’s going away soon. This one should be fun. Keep an eye on this one for local literary events, especially concerning the Key West Literary Seminar.

I noted your endorsement of Slate. Me too. I’m friends with Michael Kinsley, the founding editor of Slate. He was at Harper’s after me, but I did several projects with him, and had lunch with him and his wife last year at a publishing industry outing in Puerto Rico. He’s now married to the woman who administers Bill Gates’ foundations.
